Zambia Loses Friendly Match To Egypt – Egypt 3 : 0 Zambia.
The Zambia National football lost 3 – 0 to Egypt in an international match played at Aljazirah stadium on Sunday evening.
Ahmed Hassan Coca scored a brace, his first goal coming in the second minute while his second came three minutes after the break.
Amr Gamal added Egypt’s third goal in the last minute of the game.
All of Egypt’s goals were scored from wing play.
Football Association of Zambia president Kalusha Bwalya watched the match in Abu Dhabi.
“Today we were not tight enough. Normally we deal with the crosses, which were delivered. In all the goals we conceded we had numbers at the back.
The truth is that in November we have to play two matches in a space of 10 days against Sudan. This match against a strong Egyptian team was a good practice for us in preparation for Sudan,” Kalusha said.
In November, Zambia faces Sudan over two legs in the second qualification round of the 2018 Fifa World Cup.
Zambia will be away for the first leg, which is scheduled for the first week of November while the second leg will take place on November 15.
