Rainford Kalaba is a Zambian professional footballer who currently plays for TP Mazembe. Popularly known as ‘Master’, Rainford Kalaba is a typical pace midfielder who is a great asset as he plies trade at African DR Congo giants, TP Mazembe.
The Chipolopolo Boys Captain Rainford Kalaba recently unveiled his latest add to his numerous collection of automobiles via instagram.
Rainford Kalaba is suspected to be amongst the highest paid footballers in Zambia grossing hefty mouth splitting paychecks every year from the Congolese side owned by mining tycoon and Katanga Governor Moise Katumbi.
Besides his other set of rims Rainford Kalaba’s car collection now includes a brand new Chrysler Crossfire. The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive; 2- door sports car marketed by Chrysler as both coupe and roadster and was built for Chrysler by Karmann of german for model years 2004-2008.
It is not yet confirmed exactly what model of the Chrysler Crossfire Rainford Kalaba purchased but according to most car dealers, the crossfire will cost a jaw dropping $39, ooo.
Rainford Kalaba’s story has been that of rags to riches with his humble background hailing from Kitwe’s Ndeke Township on the Copperbelt province of Zambia.
Just like most football players, Rainford Kalaba has had his share of scandals. In October 2013, due to a disagreement between club TP Mazembe and the Zambian Football Association over international call-ups, Kalaba and two other players (Nathan Sinkala and Stoppila Sunzu) was the subject of a Zambian arrest warrant. All three players later had their passports confiscated by Zambian immigration authorities, before being pardoned by the Zambian government.
