My Fitness, My Form Have Suffered – Clifford Mulenga.
Clifford Mulenga has pleaded with fans to give him time to regain his form, which he said has been due to a long period of inconsistent play.
The 2007 Glo-CAF young player of the Year Mulenga stated on his Facebook page that he was working hard to get back to his best and asked fans to forget about the past and concentrate on the future.
He explained that he had not been playing consistently for a long period of time and that led to the loss of fitness and form.
“Friends and fans, please give me time to work on me. I haven’t been playing football consistently for some time now so my form and fitness have suffered; no one is standing in my way. I just have to work extra hard and regain my form and fitness. I am working hard on getting back to my best. Let’s leave the past behind. The future is the way forward. Thank you for your support. Love you all, God bless,” wrote Mulenga.
Mulenga, who now plies his trade with Zesco United, has played in the Premier Soccer League since 2004.
His career saw him play for Pretoria University, Bidvest Wits, Thanda Royal Zulu, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Bloemfontein Celtics, SuperSport and Ajax Cape Town.
