Mazhandu & Wada Chovu License Suspended By RATSA.

The Road Traffic and Safety Agency (RATSA) has suspended the license of two of Zambia’s road transport giants.

The decision has followed after the named bus operators were involved in countless road accidents, which resulted in the death of many Zambian citizens.

Mazhandu and Wada Chovu will be off the road for one month and are mandated to fulfill certain conditions set by RATSA.
Among the conditions will be the drivers to have reduced working hours and also be re-trained for a more professional approach.

The country has witnessed a number of accidents leading to growing concern about the safety of roads and competence of drivers.

And RATSA has suspended two officers for allegedly illegally issuing 200 licenses.
