Kalusha Bwalya Joins Africa 10 Hall Of Fame.
FOOTBALL Association of Zambia president Kalusha Bwalya was on Saturday night named in the Africa 10 Hall of Fame. Africa 10, an organisation chaired by former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan, gave Kalusha the recognition accolade at a ceremony held in England.
Kalusha, who is a CAF executive committee member, was honoured for his illustrious football career spanning over 30 years.
Africa 10 is aimed at recognising sportsmen and women in Africa that have given their all to better sport on the continent.
Other members of the Africa 10 include Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, Nwanko Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha, Abedi Pele, Rodger Milla, Yaya Toure, Rabah Major and George Weah.
The 1988 African Footballer of The Year will now be one of the 10 icons to carry the vision of Africa 10.
