Grade 9 Pupils Write Final Exams At Night

Grade 9 Pupils Write Final Exams At Night.

Grade 9 pupils in Zambia were given no other option but to write their final examinations late at night due to insufficient material particularly in Computer Classes.

Grade 9 students at Libala basic school in Lusaka had been delayed to write their computer paper exams due to the fact that the school doesn’t have enough computers to carter for everyone.

A Libala pupil tipped us off and said that the pupils had been put in groups, which ended up finishing writing at 23 hours.

“51 years after independence, we are still behind with technology. This is so unacceptable not to mention shameful on the part of the school that couldn’t come with a better plan to avoid such situations. Very uncalled for!

I don’t know where we’re going as a country when children are supposed to write in the morning but there’s no power and power comes back around 15 hours. The Minister of Education should do something, this is not right,”complained a Libala pupil.
