Energy Regulation Board Shuts Down 3 Fuel Dispensers In Livingstone
The Zambia Weights and Measures Agency has shut down three fuel dispensers at two filling stations in Livingstone for under dispensing fuel to motorists.
The agency in partnership with Energy Regulation Boards shut down the dispensers following complaints from motorists in Livingstone.
Zambia Weights and Measures Agency Public Relations officer Diana Ngula says one petrol dispenser nozzle at Total Filling Station was under dispensing by 25 milliliters while at PUMA two petrol nozzles were under dispensing by 20 and 50 milliliters.
She told Zed Corner News in Livingstone that inspections will be extended to all the seven service stations in the tourist capital.
A team of inspectors from Zambia Weights and Measures Agency -ZWMA, Energy Regulation Board -ERB and Competition and Consumer Protection Commission-CCPC have started inspecting fuel service stations in Livingstone to determine fuel dispensation.
