Clifford Mulenga Returns To South Africa
Clifford Mulenga is back in South Africa where he is hoping to sign at his former club SuperSport United.
Clifford Mulenga has been released by CAF Champions League envoys Zesco United after he failed to impress the technical bench in a three-month assessment period.
According to Soccerladuma, the 28-year-old, who had his best South African spells with University of Pretoria, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Bloemfontein Celtic, has struggled to settle in recent years, having signed for four different clubs since 2012.
Mulenga spent the 2012/13 seasons with SuperSport, and he is back looking to prove his worth to head coach Gordon Igesund.
Mulenga won the CAF African Young Player of the Year award in 2007.
