Chipolopolo In South Africa For Friendly Matches.
The Zambia National Football Team is in South Africa where the team is scheduled to have a number of friendly matches in preparation for the coming CHAN Championship.
The Chipolopolo arrived at O.R. Tambo International Airport at 09:15 hours this morning.
Football Association of Zambia Licencing Manger Eric Mwanza confirmed the Chipolopolo’s arrival to Zed Corner news in a telephone interview.
The team comprising locally based players left for Johannesburg, South Africa at 07 hours this morning.
While in South Africa the CHAN squad is expected to play three friendly matches as part of preparations ahead of the championship.
And National Team Coach George Lwandamina says the players have trained hard.
He has called on football fans and the entire country to rally behind the boys.
Zambia will play the first game against rivals Zimbabwe on Tuesday 19th January 2016 at 15 hours Zambian Time.
