Chinese Man Street Vending Selling Roasted Maize In Zambia

Chinese Man Street Vending Selling Roasted Maize In Zambia.

The Economic relationship between China, a global economic giant, and Zambia has had an exponential growth with economic analysis projecting trade to hit $5 Billion by 2016.But China’s huge presence on the ground is causing grumbling. Zambians now complain the Chinese are now doing everything from mining to selling chickens and vegetables.

Census data shows that about 100, 000 Chinese live in Zambia and more than 500 Chinese companies are engaged in farming, retail trade, pharmacies, hospitals, information and communication technologies as well as road-building, mining and manufacturing.

An alleged “Chinese Investor” made headlines as he shocked many Zambians with his work ethic. He was spotted carrying a basket of Maize on his head heading to a footbridge at the University Of Zambia to sell his merchandise.

This development has opened up many Zambian eyes because now they know that a China Man means business and wherever he goes, his ultimate goal is to take over and dominate.

Made in China is the most widely recognisable phrase to date. Now grown in Africa but sold by China will be the next power phrase. I hope my Zambian people can learn from this.
