Angolan President Eduardo Dos Santos Pays $2 M To See Nicki Minaj’s Butt, Where Citizens Live Below $2 Per Day
Despite being a leader of an impoverished African country Angola, the controversial President, Jose Eduardo dos Santos invited and had American hip hop star, Nicki Minaj perform at his Christmas party for a mouth dropping sum of $2 million.
Nicki Minaj reportedly performed in Luanda, Angola on Saturday night despite calls from human rights activists and critics to cancel her concert for the malnourished country. In the wake of the criticisms, the singer shared photos of her wear on Instagram after arriving the country in a private jet.
Dos Santos, 73, has been accused of overseeing corruption, misrule in a country that suffers endemic poverty, despite being Africa’s second-largest oil producer.
According to research done by the United Nations Development Programme, more than a third of the country’s population of about 24 million people are living below the poverty levels, and nearly 65% of the population lives on less than $2 a day.
