$10 Million Mall To Be Built By A Chinese Firm In Libala.

A Chinese construction firm, Hua Feng, will build a shopping mall in Lusaka’s Libala at a cost of US$10 million.

The shopping complex, which will be built on a 54, 005 spaure metre piece of land, is anticipated to create about 300 direct and indirect jobs.

According to a Hua Feng environmental impact assessment report submitted to the Zambia Environmental Management Agency, the project will consist of 150 shops.

The planned two-storey shopping mall will also accommodate sports courts, a gym, children’s store and two cinema halls.

Hua Feng is a Zambian-registered company.
